Where Safari Park Hotel actually is
Safari Park Hotel & Casino sits on Thika Road in Kasarani, on the northern edge of Nairobi, opposite the Moi International Sports Centre and roughly 12km from the city centre. It's set on a large hotel property — 64 acres by the hotel's own description — rather than a stand-alone restaurant on a city street, which is part of why the grounds feel more like a resort than a single dinner venue once you're inside the gates.
Hotel pickup is included
The booking includes a round-trip hotel transfer. You're picked up from your Nairobi hotel at around 6:30pm, driven out to Safari Park Hotel, and driven back once the show ends at 10pm. If you'd like to stay on at the Paradise Casino afterwards, the vehicle can wait for you at an extra waiting charge.
Self-driving or taxi
Thika Road is one of Nairobi's main arterial routes, and Safari Park Hotel's own signage and grounds are well known locally, so a taxi or ride-hailing app can get you there without needing a pre-arranged tour transfer. On-site parking is available for guests driving themselves, which is worth considering if your hotel isn't near a pickup route or you'd simply rather keep your own schedule for the drive home after 11pm.
What time to arrive
Because the buffet opens at 7pm and the show doesn't start until 9pm, there's a genuine two-hour window to arrive within rather than a single fixed door time — arriving earlier in that window means a better choice of tables before the room fills ahead of the 9pm show. Arriving right at 9pm risks a table further from the open floor, since the room fills through the dinner hour rather than all at once just before the performance.
How long to set aside
Between the drive to Kasarani, dinner, the one-hour show and the drive back, the evening runs from the hotel pickup at around 6:30pm to roughly 11pm for anyone staying for the full programme — call it four hours door to door from a central Nairobi hotel, traffic depending. It isn't a quick after-dinner stop; treating it as the evening's main event, rather than squeezing it in after a full day of sightseeing, tends to make for a better night.
The trip home
Kasarani is a drive from most central Nairobi accommodation, and taxis aren't reliably waiting outside the hotel gates at 11pm on a quiet night. The booking's return transfer takes care of that: the vehicle that picked you up drives you back to your hotel after the show.
